What is a Moodboard?
Sharing the visual inspiration of your brand can feel overwhelming when you’re starting from scratch.
But one of the easiest ways to articulate your vision and your design ideas all in one comprehensive visual story is with a moodboard! This is really and truly one our favourite parts of the design process, it feels very similar to shopping online but actually checkout out with all the items you added to your cart!
You can see anything from inspirational photography, colour pairings, typography, quotes, patterns, shapes and really anything visually to help tie together a cohesive direction of the vision.
How We Use it?
In our branding process we are a huge fan of connecting visually with our clients by going the moodboard route. A very important element in kicking off the partnership within the branding process. Presenting a collage or collection of visual elements help visually share the vision to ensure we’re on the right path.
Why Is Moodboarding So Crucial?
In a nutshell, entrepeurneurs and small business owners generally have many ideas and directions to share early on. We utilize these notes, and help narrow this into visual elements.
